【SDGs】ルビーガラスが脱炭素社会の課題を考えるきっかけに

今後、産業廃棄物として大量に発生するといわれている、太陽電池パネルのリサイクルに取り組む武部博倫さん。特にパネルのガラスの部分はリサイクルが難しいといわれ、それを特殊な技術を用いて、ワイングラスや装飾品などにも使用される「ルビーガラス」へと生まれ変わらせました。この取り組みを通して、脱炭素社会における問題点にも着目し、解決方法を導き出すことの必要性を伝えていきたいと語る武部さんの思い描く未来とは？

The glass part of the panels is said to be particularly difficult to recycle, so he has used a special technique to recycle it into ‘ruby glass,’ which is also used for wine glasses and ornaments.
